Favourite pub in Maidstone by quite some way.

Tonbridge - Blonde Ambition4.20ExcellentStraight off the bat I liked this beer when I had it last year. Still a very solid golden bitter. Good fullness in mouth. In great nick as well. Helps being so local.

£1 a pint for the final knockings of the beer festival. 12 beers still available this evening. 30 beers have appeared. My favourites were Amarillo and Greenjack. My least favourites were Wagglers and the chilli stout which put me off the next 5 beers by numbing my throat. See Pedros list below.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Kent - Porter5.50ExceptionalStill as good as my sample on Wednesday in the tasting session.
Hanlons (formerly O'Hanlon's) - Original Port Stout4.80Excellent
06 May 2011 (Ian)
Friday afternoon beer festival and quite busy already. Third pints served. Result!!
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Wild Swan (was 3.5%)3.40ExcellentSo light and easy drinking but with great hops. Reminds me of when I first had it at Reading BF 5 years ago.
Tonbridge - Coppernob3.80GoodGreat condition and plenty of flavour for a low abv bitter. Some pear fruit flavour with yhe sweetish malts I thought and a decent bitter finish sting
Wagglers (Weltons) - Best Bitter DB4.00AcceptableMid brown bitter colour thin beige head. Not much aroma. Some brown malt. Malty in mouth. Touch of harsh acidic earthy hop on finish. Its a best bitter
Northern (see also Blakemere) - Chilli Chocolate Stout4.60AcceptableDecent choc and decent chilli bite on finish. Ok novelty beer
