Very quiet. 20th century cask choice.
Cromarty - Whiteout 3.80 Murky as hell but packed full of hoppy freshness. Makes the Duke seem even more heavy handed. Swannay (formerly Highland) - The Duke IPA 5.20 Asked for something light and hoppy and was offered this. Too late I spotted Whiteout on the keg lines. English style IPA. Not so fresh. Timothy Taylor - Landlord 4.30 Not Tried Cairngorm - Trade Winds 4.30 Not Tried Orkney (Sinclair) - Clootie Dumpling 4.30 Not Tried Greene King - Yardbird 4.00 Not Tried

Buzz of conversation. No music or TV. Bar staff neither knew nor cared if a beer was keg or key keg.
Wylam - Remain in the Light 5.00 Classic New World IPA. Drinks stronger than abv. A clever trick.
Note: this is Remain in Light (no 'the').
