Late evening one for the road on what turned out to be a rather bad day for beer quality.

Late afternoon, fairly quiet. Meeting some old work colleagues who kindly had already got me a pint in - unfortunately Young’s ordinary - and it was.

1730 and very busy. Yet again the pub has been reconfigured, the bar is now on the left as you enter via the station entrance.

Had a snack lunch with my son and brother in law in this very busy pub. The Betjeman Arms sandwich with egg was very tasty and filling. We had this in one of the many sitting areas.

Late afternoon, not busy. Had to ask for my pint to be topped up twice (same pint) and for £4.70 - not impressed.
