Hogan Sampling		18 Oct 2025	Very good head and lacing and lasting on this Cornish golden ale brewed south-east of Newquay by Goodh (pronounced Goooth, Cornish for “wild”) Brewing Company which commenced in 2018 and took over Skinner’s Brewery in 2023 after its running from 1997. A truly hop-infused fruity first hit on what was Skinner’s first ale. A gentle bitterness, with a mild biscuity note, veering up from this brew made with Cornish water and whole-flower, Celeia. Moreover, still made with Skinner’s unique yeast. A good hoppy note from its Northdown and Aurora hops lending it citrus flavouring, sailing downwards. Not too sweet; in fact, very well balanced and moreish to my taste buds.
