Hogan SamplingGood18 Apr 2026 Very good head and lacing and sticking all the way on this light brown, caramel-hued English amber ale from Dunsley Farm, off London Road, Tring, and where the brewery moved to in 2010 following being launched in 1992, and some 17–19 miles north-westerly of St Albans by road. A lightly hoppy first hit. A hoppy bitterness emerging with red fruited flavours climbing up from its Styrian Goldings that are primarily grown in Slovenia and Austria. They are not part of the English "Golding" family hops but the clonal selection of the English Fuggle variety. Hints of lemon, green tea and sweet fruits delighting my taste buds. A biscuity maltiness joining in. Its hoppiness winning over and prevailing. Very moreish and served in top condition.
