Mid afternoon fairly quiet with a couple of groups finishing a late lunch. Friendly and welcoming it still had a cosy pub atmosphere despite the food emphasis.

Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried
Timothy Taylor - Landlord | 4.30 | Not Tried

Evening 8ish. Better than my last visit - same layout and still food centric - but I had 45 minutes to kill and enjoyed sitting by the fire in a comfy sofa and chilling over my half.
Elgood's - Cambridge Gold | 3.90 | | Good condition but a bit soapy I thought. |
Cellar Head - India Pale Ale | 5.00 | Not Tried

Been on a walk between Wickhambreaux and Ickham. The pub was busy mainly with diners.
Westerham - Summer Perle | 3.80 | | Rich gold colour. Syrupy. White pepper hop bite. |
Timothy Taylor - Landlord | 4.30 | Not Tried
Angels & Demons (now uses McCanns branding not its own) - Panama Jazz | 4.80 | Not Tried

Busyy both inside and out inthe garden. Nice view out over cornfields. Pricey.
Moor - So'Hop | 4.10 | | Tasted of passion fruit and tutti frutti sweets. Very cloudy else I'd have scored it higher. |
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Rock Top | 4.10 | | Slightly sweet slightly tart brown bitter |
Shepherd Neame - The Faversham Steam Brewery - Whitstable Bay Pale Ale | 3.90 | Not Tried
14 Jun 2015 (Jack William)
Sunday lunchtime for lunch - busy almost exclusively with diners - good food and polite but rather inattentive staff - very slow - at the bar and in serving lunch.
Wantsum - Imperium | 4.00 | | A malty, but not very distinctive beer. |
Shepherd Neame - Whitstable Bay Pale Ale | 3.90
Moor - Raw | 4.30 | | Very tasty with strong citrus notes, unfined version and very cloudy. |

Popped in for a quick drink as I was in the area. The pub's been refurbished and feels much bigger and more open than before. I liked it although at £4.70 for a pint and a packet of crisps I won't be rushing back!
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter | 4.00 | | Fresh, bitter and with that Harvey's yeastiness to it. Excellent |
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried
Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale) | 4.20 | Not Tried
Adnams - Southwold Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried

Sunday late afternoon session, live music (Martin Jonathan). Friendly crowd of about 30 clustered around the bar, friendly landlady too. Only 2 of the 4 pumps were on.
Greene King - IPA (was 3.6%) | 3.40 | | Nice enough session beer. Not a memorable pint but it smelt fine and did have a reasonable bite. |
Greene King - Morland Old Speckled Hen | 4.50 | | I can't say undrinkable because I drank it, but it was pretty near the mark. A fairly pleasant hoppy smell, but a truly nasty, sour aftertaste. |

The pub was taken over 6 months ago. The inside was fairly open in feel and a house shoe shape with the bar in the middle.
Greene King - IPA (was 3.6%) | 3.40 | | Nothing special about this beer of which I generally think nothing special of |
