Lunchtime visit for our party of two for food. Busy in both bars but a table to be found and met by a warm welcome and a choice of 5 real ales on. Homemade food again went down a treat.

Just in time for lunch at 1.50pm as lunch is 12noon to 2pm. Pensioner two-course special now from Tues to Thur. Six real ales on which is impressive for a small village country pub.

Afternoon visit by preserved Green Line RF bus after a local funeral. Impressive attitude to cask ales here and a quite rare, these days, two bar layout.
A lovely Grade II listed flint building in Otford Lane, with two bars. Several bar areas distinct from each other and a small function room. 3 handpumps in public and 3 in saloon bar. Very real ale committed landlord. Closed 26th August 2024 and awaiting new tenants. Re-opened Tuesday 10th September 2024 with new tenants.
We have visited this pub 34 times, seen 101 different beers and tried 35 of them.
