Evening visit albeit with arrival 15 minutes before advertised closing time. Alas lights off, door locked. Later scrutiny of Facebook shows pub closed Monday to Thursday re-opening Friday. Sittingbourne failure number one.

Second visit here. Got quite busy but then it isn't very big. The main attraction for me was the Porter - a mix of Mild and Old (50:50) but with its own Goachers Pumpclip (which I was told was a "museum piece" from when Goachers brewed Porter, something they've not done for years).

Evening visit not even until a belated close as a group were playing repeat games of Ultimate Werewolf which I could not follow at all and continued after I had left. Most customers were drinking cans of murky fruity and milky looking stuff. Also had a one-third of wallet busting 11% Low Key Barrel Project The Saviour of the Broken, the Beaten, and the Damned.

Specially arranged opening at 1230 for our group of 7. The bar person was very attentive and she showed us a picture of a recent visitor, also from Canterbury, Justin Welby.

Lunchtime- kindly opened for our group of 6. Very good “traditional” micro. We were joined by one of Goacher’s brewers who is also the father of the guv here.

After a couple of round trips on the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway I fancied a pint. This place would normally be closed at this time of day but I hoped (rightly) that it may open on a Bank Holiday, I enjoyed a couple of pints in good company until 2pm closing.

The pub is found in Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 2JN.
First Micropub in Sittingbourne located on a street corner in Charlotte Street. Name reflects the significant historical importance of paper making to the area. Officially opened on Saturday 12th October 2013. The licensee is a lady who has always wanted to open a pub like pubs once were and has been very successful in achieving this. Premises were formerly a building contractor's office and prior to that various shop existences. Small square main bar with wall mounted high benches on all four sides and high tables to match. Table service from a gravity stillage cellar at the back. Unisex toilet. Decorated with enamel signs from old Kent breweries which have been lent by Goacher's Brewery from its vast collection and there is always a Goacher's beer on here. The very layout and size mean conversation is King, Queen, Prince and Princess. CAMRA Swale Branch Pub of the Year 2015, 2016 and again in 2017.
