Fairly quiet early evening. Very pleasant atmosphere in the pub. All beers though were about 2 degrees too warm for some reason.
| Adnams - Broadside | 4.70 | | Really good. Lovely oaky rich caramel and light chocolate flavours. Slightly too warm but the beer held up well to this. |
| Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 5 | 4.40 | | Excellent condition. The slight warmth took a bit away from it making it a bit too syrupy. |
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - Kentish Best | 3.70 | | Good condition. Rough hops and malt. Touch too warm. |
| Tonbridge - Easy Street Pale | 3.90 | | Excellent condition. Rich hoppy and peppery. But the warmth took a bit off the edge. |

Lunchtime cycle group meet. Six of us thoroughly enjoyed the good choice of ales. An we clocked the “copper pottle” itself - a half-gallon copper jug on the shelf behind the bar.
| Kent - Starry Night | 4.20 | | Good, earthy bitter with a good body. |
| Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 5 | 4.40 | | |
| Kent - Session Pale | 3.70 | | |
| Tonbridge - Ebony Moon | 4.20 | Not Tried | Wry popular with the those favouring the dark side. |
