Thursday lunchtime- new venue for our cycling group. Well received - including one of our group who had never been in a micropub before! Two octogenarians, both on bikes - one 86 the other 86 tomorrow.

Just after 2 - was cycling past but couldn’t resist the urge for a swift half. Half a dozen in. Happy to get back to reasonable prices - £3.60/£3.80.

After a mammoth “mystery tour” bus ride from Canterbury we were pleased to eventually get here - and the guvnor seemed pleased to welcome the 9 of us.

Cycling past just after 2pm nominal closing time - but it was open for a swift one. Unusually for a micro this now has a small garden area. Friendly place.

Early lunchtime- quite a contrast to the Bouncing Barrel. A table of 3 couples being very lively. Good chat with the guv, Gavin.

Very busy but since it was hot a lot of folks were in the back garden so Gareth and I managed to get a seat by the window. Neither Gavin or Garry present today but did have a chat with Glyn. A good night.

The pub is found in Beltinge, Kent, CT6 6ND.
Micropub which opened on Friday 26th June 2015 in Reculver Road in premises formerly Smackerjacks Pet Foods shop. Traditional single storey shop frontage with attractive blue tiles below the front windows. A la Micropub closed on Mondays. Real ales and ciders are served on gravity dispense from a temperature controlled cellar room at the rear. Several high tables with high chairs and a couple of low tables and chairs too. Small bar counter in right hand corner. Unisex toilet. There is a rear exit to a small paved smoking area. There is a garden behind which may be available for customers in the future. Beers and ciders are listed on a large wall blackboard.
