12 May 2012 (ChrisE)
Saturday evening, and very pleasant. I have not been here for a considerable time and the place seems to have changed for the better. I was pleasantly surprised to see a number of people from a cruise liner berthed at Dover Western Docks choosing to come in hereI did not make a list of all the beers that were on offer.
Wantsum - More's Head (previously 3.4% & 3.5%) | 3.70 | | Really good in here tonight. I had a good number of pints of this, and did not bother to look at the rest of the selection of ales. |
04 Feb 2011 (Martin the Mildman)
Quite a few festival goers in here for breakfast etc before the start.
Wantsum - Miller's Mirth | 4.20 | | Rather sharp and bitter with a piney hop flavour that is not really to my taste. My score 13/20. |

Pre Winter Ales festival visit with a few other festival go-ers in attendance.
Nelson - Shiver M' Timbers | 4.70 | | Now shown as 4.7%. A strong dark ale with a bitter, malty character, hints of rubber and cardboard and not much hoppiness. Not very inspiring. My score 13/20. |
