Very busy when I arrived, but started to empty out a bit so I got a table.

Quiet with the odd commuter popping in for a read of the paper + a pint. Cracking bar.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Coalition Burton Ale7.20ExceptionalA joint venture with Kernal brewery is a deep dark porter. Very potent + full of roasted coffee notes. Very nice but a half sufficient.
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Brother Rabbit4.00GoodCertain this was 4%. Quite a watery beer. Colour very diluted. Not to par with other Thornbridge beers I have tried + not massively flavoursome. Some mellow hops + sessionable.

Busy as ever for the last stop of the day before heading home.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Kernel Collaboration Burton Ale7.20ExcellentRuby coloured thick hoppy and malty ale. Sweetish sticky mouthfeel soon tempered with a hoppy kick, but all the while a smooth maltiness. The finish is dry and raisiny. My score 16/20.

First time here, what a place. Ridiculous beer line-up with around 12 real ales and countless keg and bottled beers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Geminus8.50ExceptionalWinner! Absolutely amazing beer, incredibly hoppy and rich. I showed this one respect and took my sweet time over it.

Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Black Harry3.90ExcellentNot sure if it's what was intended but this is a superb mild to my taste. Dark brown with lots of sweet malty flavours including toffee and nut and a hint of hoppiness. Berry fruit finish. My score 16/20.
