Knew this Micropub was going to be busy by the amount of condensation on the windows and upon entering my thoughts were right. A very busy session in this wonderful “proper” Micropub.

Evening visit. Had a peek as the almost completed stone paved rear garden, nicely secluded and spacious and already half of it is in use.

Just after 4pm opening time. A few in already - I like the seating here - up high and facing each other across the walkway - conducive to conversation. I was offered the 10p a pint CAMRA discount without asking. Very good value.

Nice to see this Micropub has resisted to go down the keg road, still only cask available and just as it should be.

The pub is found in Faversham, Kent, ME13 8NS.
Faversham's first Micropub, at the Market Place end of Preston Street, which opened on 18th December 2014 having previously been open for a short while as a pop-up during the town's Hop Festival in the autumn. Shop conversion from a wet fish shop. Small oblong room, sparsely decorated, with large central skylight. High wall mounted benches provide the seating at high tables. Small bar counter in the far left hand corner is equipped with 6 wall mounted handpumps and 1 on the counter top for the real ale and cider dispense. Unisex toilet at the back. Lost the apostrophe in its name with recent new signage!
