01 Aug 2012 (ChrisE)
Early evening soon after opening, and already a good few customers enjoying the ales. I picked up a few of the latest London travel maps and a copy of London Drinker. A great pity that the rail service to Ramsgate has suffered because of the Olympic timetable.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wantsum - One Hop Willamette4.50Excellent
Sambrook's - Wandle3.80GoodA well kept pint, but not my favourite beer.
27 Jul 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Curtailed mid to late evening visit due to Olympics driven cessation of high speed trains east of Ashford. A good crowd of locals in despite imminence of the Olympics opening ceremony on TV.
BeerABVScoreNotes

2025 hours visit. A good crowd in and all seated. Blimey it's early June and still feeling blowy Autumnal.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Never been on a Tuesday before. All familiar faces though and good craic abounded until we were herded out as must be.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wantsum - Ravening Wolf5.90ExcellentBit of a skull attack. Punched well above its 5.9% weight. Dangerously drinkable but closing time curtailed that urge.
Nelson - Defiance3.70GoodA dark golden ale with a good balanced taste of hops and brewed with German yeast to give a smooth finish. Not normally a fan of Nelson beers but did enjoy this one.
Milestone - Green Man4.50GoodA golden beer. Much drier taste than the Nelson beer that preceded it.
