Colin was on holiday so there was a new face serving the beer. Conversation was mainly about Tomson and Wotton until a crowd of female bus drivers dressed in military fatigues came in doing a pub crawl of the Thanet Loop.

| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - Obama's Green Hop Honey Ale (collaboration with Canterbury Brewers) | 4.70 | | |

01 Aug 2012 (ChrisE)
Early evening soon after opening, and already a good few customers enjoying the ales. I picked up a few of the latest London travel maps and a copy of London Drinker. A great pity that the rail service to Ramsgate has suffered because of the Olympic timetable.
| Wantsum - One Hop Willamette | 4.50 | | |
| Sambrook's - Wandle | 3.80 | | A well kept pint, but not my favourite beer. |
27 Jul 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Curtailed mid to late evening visit due to Olympics driven cessation of high speed trains east of Ashford. A good crowd of locals in despite imminence of the Olympics opening ceremony on TV.
| Wantsum - Ravening Wolf | 5.90 | | The obvious favourite here tonight. Dry hoppiness just right for me |
| Goody Ales - Bleangate Brewery - Good Heavens | 4.10 | | Had a couple. A sweetish bitter brew |
| Sunny Republic - Dolphin | 4.20 | Not Tried | Despite its short life a brewery that is getting about a bit |
14 Jul 2012 (ChrisE)
Second pub on a tour of Kent Micro Pubs, we filled the place. The majority of our group had not been here before and were very impressed.
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Pardoner's Ale | 3.80 | | A good session bitter ale. |
| Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - She Sells Sea Shells | 4.70 | Not Tried | |
| Redemption - Pale Ale | 3.80 | Not Tried | |
