Triple fff - Moondance | 4.20 |  | Nice pint, good balance of malt and hops, really good. |
Bath Ales - SPA | 3.70 |  | Nice enough bitter, no outstanding features, a good session bitter. |
Ripple Steam - Original Best Bitter | 4.10 |  | Nice pint of this amber bitter, as before I still get a celery taste, weird. |

I’ve been in some small pubs, but I think this is my first time in one so small that it is officially ‘micro’. Pleasant atmosphere. I was not put off even by the one duff beer.
Kent - Going for Gold | 4.40 |  | Pale bitter with a pronounced hop bite. |
Goacher's - Best Dark Ale (aka Original) | 4.10 |  | Old-fashioned, traditional Kentish beer – all Crystal malt and Goldings hops. |
Wantsum - More's Head (previously 3.4% & 3.5%) | 3.70 |  | Nasty, sour, darkish beer. Should not be like this and I could not finish my half. |

First port of call on a tour of Kent Micropubs. A very wet Saturday, we all got a thorough soaking when we left to catch the train to Ramsgate.

We arrived just as the doors were opening for the lunch time session, the place soon filled up with good crowd of people, a most enjoyable visit.

Comfortably busy, this new pub seems to be doing very well, and why not? The beer is very good.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - DogBolter Dark Porter | 5.60 |  | Nice porter, chocolate, toast and malt, good hops, perhaps it needs a touch more body? |
Tring - Jack O Legs | 4.20 |  | Copper,colour good honest bitter with good hops. |
Wantsum - Dynamo (superseded by 4.3% version) | 4.60 |  | Light colour, thin head, hoppy with some citrus, nice finish. |

Dark Star - American Pale Ale (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 4.70 |  | Lovely and hoppy, good nick and good temperature too. |
