Early afternoon and a good friendly crowd at the bar. It reminded me of old times to hear the bell for last orders followed by much ordering of beer and the final bell being rung at exactly 2.30pm.

Ian and I came here for a late afternoon session. Door to door it was 2 hours for each of us. Absolutely great pub. We sat in the corner where we always seem to end up.

Came here with Perry and Lindsey who wanted to see if the no. 7 was as good as the ship in Deal. It was!

Late afternoon, and a long time since last in here. One of the Dossers fav's too, I can see why as well. A proper old back street local this one. Nice, and a fitting end to my sixth consecutive day in Thanet, on a mini micro crawl of sorts!

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 7HJ.
A small L-shaped pub with a good locals' feel. Found up a side road, Trinity Place, not far from the centre of town. A lease taken by Eddie Gadd of Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') in Summer 2014 from the private owner and he took over occupancy in September of that year. Local CAMRA branch Traditional Pub of the Year 2019 and 2020. Freehold purchased by Ramsgate Brewery in mid 2025.
We have visited this pub 195 times, seen 157 different beers and tried 125 of them.
