Early lunchtime - 3 in plus me and then a steady stream - all locals I believe - but I was given a nice welcome and included in conversation - including tips for my pub crawl around Ramsgate on Boxing Day. Very nice.

Ian and I walked here from Broadstairs. The horses were on and everyone seemed in a jovial mood. We stayed for 4 hours. Grest pub.

Huge crowd on a Sunday afternoon . Eddie Gadd serving his excellent beer. This is a quality pub run by a great team. Will give the Yard of Ale a run for there money in The POTY awards next year I am sure.

Just after noon - but all bar stools occupied with locals. Reasonable welcome for us outsiders.
A back-street boozer as it should be.
5 cask ales on plus a couple of Gadd's craft beers on keg - Green Hop Ale and Uberhop.

Camra meeting and our first business one. Julian was an excellent chairman and Lynne, Angie, really enjoyed it.Unusual for a business meeting. The beers tonight were amazing. We now have to visit another 20 Thanet pubs with Lynne. Oh, the joys of living in Thanet. Fortunately we have drank in 14 of them in the last 3 weeks so judging pubs should be easy. So much easier here than in Maidstone.So pleased to hear of all the dark beers Gadds have planned for the winter months. So lucky to live here beerwise. We love dark uns.

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 7HJ.
A small L-shaped pub with a good locals' feel. Found up a side road, Trinity Place, not far from the centre of town. A lease taken by Eddie Gadd of Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') in Summer 2014 from the private owner and he took over occupancy in September of that year. Local CAMRA branch Traditional Pub of the Year 2019 and 2020.
