Early lunchtime - 3 in plus me and then a steady stream - all locals I believe - but I was given a nice welcome and included in conversation - including tips for my pub crawl around Ramsgate on Boxing Day. Very nice.

Ian and I walked here from Broadstairs. The horses were on and everyone seemed in a jovial mood. We stayed for 4 hours. Grest pub.

Huge crowd on a Sunday afternoon . Eddie Gadd serving his excellent beer. This is a quality pub run by a great team. Will give the Yard of Ale a run for there money in The POTY awards next year I am sure.

The pub is found in Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 7HJ.
A small L-shaped pub with a good locals' feel. Found up a side road, Trinity Place, not far from the centre of town. A lease taken by Eddie Gadd of Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') in Summer 2014 from the private owner and he took over occupancy in September of that year. Local CAMRA branch Traditional Pub of the Year 2019 and 2020. Freehold purchased by Ramsgate Brewery in mid 2025.
