Came for a spot of dinner. Nice old pub with a pleasant view across the small green to the church and an oast house. Doesn't get much more Kentish than this.

Came for a meal with my parents and Jane. It was busy with nearly all the tables booked up for diners. I'd have liked to have sat outside looking at the evening draw in over the church and green but maybe next time.

Busy Sunday lunch time but we were only here for a drink. Usually a beer line up like this wouldn't excite me but for some reason I've been craving Master Brew lately. Lovely location for a pub.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter3.70GoodA bit cold. However, a good range of hop flavours were present from a base bitterness to goldings on the finish. The malt was clean and subtle and I sank this pint with no problems. Good session beer.
