Needed to get some liquid therapy on the third evening of GMT. Where better to go than here. Good beers, nostalgic tunes on the juke box and an interesting chat.

Busy, garden filled as the trio of traditional folk musicians set up their kit. Beer had finished from the festival garden bar so the pub bar was busy, remaining beers all seemed to be Citrus hopped.

Mid afternoon - the 4-day beer festival already in full swing with the garden very busy. I sat and chatted inside with the local CAMRA branch secretary (I think). Excellent choice of beers on with more to come later in the weekend. Bring your own food is being encouraged. 8 other beers on as well as those listed and 5 more “waiting in the wings”.
