Mid afternoon- on my way back home from Eastry. Wanted a decent pint and wasn’t disappointed. Bumped into another group of cyclists - two of who I knew. Serendipity.

Cycle group lunchtime meeting. This seems to be the favourite of our dozen or so pubs in East Kent. 12 cyclists out today despite the near-zero temperatures. A good time was had by 11 of us (someone wasn’t keen on the coffee!)
BeerABVScoreNotes

Just after 3. A real old-fashioned Sunday lunchtime feel. A few diners finishing their meals and at least a dozen drinkers around the bar. Landlord Kevin on good form as was his beer.

Sunday lunchtime cycle meet. 10 of us had the bar area near the garden. A good trade with regulars also. Fun fact - the landlord’s surname is Costello and on occasion he stars in an Elvis tribute act (Presley, that is, unfortunately).
