Lunchtime cycle meet. We sat in the sun trap at the back of the pub. Green hop ales and, sadly, a final cask from Constellation Brewery, now apparently ceased trading.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Back for a cycle meet 4 weeks after I left here for my big trip. Warm words of congratulations. Pretty full around the bar and a good number eating and in the garden. Continues to be a good trad pub with food.

Thursday lunchtime - pleased to see the pub doing well. Missed their recent beer festival unfortunately - it apparently was very successful. Must try harder next year. Only 2 ales on I think - Gadds was so good I stayed on it.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Lunchtime. Our monthly micropub group decided a bigger pub may be better this month. We weren’t disappointed. Plenty of tables and three covered areas in the garden including an outside bar. Two beers straight from the barrel outside and remarkably cool considering the ambient temperature- some cunning plumbing working well.
