Early evening - a good scattering of customers inside and in the garden with a number of familiar faces. The juke box selection included a Vera Lynn number but nobody seemed to mind.

Evening visit to their bank holiday weekend beer festival. Well attended with a lot of comings and goings. I was treated to a whisky by the landlady - on a very nice Yew tray. The craftsman of the trays was also there, “I love Yew” I told him, time to leave ...
