Came for the "Birds" weekend. Only disappointment was the Mad Goose did not come on until we were leaving.

Sunday lunch - first in just after 12 (but the clocks have gone back - so where is everyone?). The manager tells me he has an Oakham theme planned for next weekend.

Oakham - Green Devil IPA6.00ExcellentOn keg - but still gorgeous. The manager said he ordered the keg version of this to make suret it lasted. Put it on Thursday last - I only got a taster and then it ran out. It may be back on cask at this rate.

Late afternoon visit after a visit to the Green Hop festival in Dane John Gardens. It was fairly quiet to begin with and got a bit busier soon afterwards, I had a good chat with the girl behind the bar.
