Easily 25 years since my last and long overdue visit, we arrived shortly after 11.00 opening and were the first customers. I took advantage of the opportunity and took plenty of unhindered photos..

Evening meal with friends who live in Beeston. Very impressed with the pub, the service and the meal. COVID restrictions still so couldn’t get a good look round - but a very nice experience all round.

Morning through to late afternoon in this wonderful pub, I started with a sausage sandwich and a coffee before being tempted with a beer. There was already a good crowd when I arrived at 09:45 and the pub was very busy when I left to catch the 16:18 train towards London. There was a good range of beers as usual but I have not attempted to list them all.

The pub is found in Beeston, Nottinghamshire, NG9 1JG.

Very large pub that was once a railway hotel. There are multiple rooms each with high ceilings, stone floors and wooden tables. Outside there's a large covered area with more seating.......and every now and then a train roars past. Part of the Castle Rock family.

We have visited this pub 25 times, seen 139 different beers and tried 64 of them.
