Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Goacher's - 1066 Old Ale | 6.70 | ![]() | Fruity as hell and just that full malty flavour. Some dryness on finish |
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Jaipur | 5.90 | ![]() | Drunk side by side with the Dark Star Revelation and the Jaipur was better more drinkable less harsh less obvious alcohol. |
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | ![]() | Cracking condition. But I am too hard on this beer. Its got great tangerine flavour |
Thornbridge / Thornbridge Hall - Wild Swan (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | ![]() | so much flavour in such a weak beer |
Dark Star - Revelation | 5.70 | ![]() | Hoppy as hell but maybe a touch too aggressive hoppy |

Goacher's - Fine Light Ale | 3.70 | ![]() | The bottom of the barrel had that distinctive malty marmaladey character to it whilst the fresh barrel was not unsurprisingly fresher, but hoppier too. Both wonderful and in good condition too. |
Hopdaemon - Golden Braid | 3.70 | Not Tried | Phil sat and drank this all night, so it must have been in pretty good nick |

You must be a member or know a member to sign you into this club. However, once you are in, the view over the harbour is excellent. Very relaxed club atmosphere with a corner bar and well spaced out tables and chairs for seating. Well maintained club bar with 3 handpumps. Occasional beer festivals.
We have visited this pub 15 times, seen 69 different beers and tried 34 of them.
