Not too bad. Would have given it a 5* rating if it was stronger and more roasted. The same beer that I've had in Europe, is far better than this version. I'm not impressed with some of these "guest" brewers using UK breweries to replicate there beers.

An excellant, rich, dark stout with added, pure blackcurrant juice of the Pixley Black variety. Lots going on.

We came in here because it is adjacent to the bus stops, and we had half an hour to wait. I was pleasantly surprised to see a good range of beers on offer, unfortunately I did not note them down.

A former insurance office that is now a large two-storey pub badged as a Lloyds No 1. Quieter upstairs but may not be open at all times. Closed late 2023 for a refurbishment re-opening Sunday 12th December 2023.
We have visited this pub 144 times, seen 380 different beers and tried 207 of them.
