Summer beer festival. Hot August Saturday lunchtime. Beautiful pub in beautiful village. Stillage and hog roast set up on one side of the garden with drinkers on the tables on the other side enjoying the sun and beers. i was happy

I must admit, I was a bit shaky after the Berry beer festival from the night before, so I reckoned if I cycled here from Ashford it would clear the cobwebs. It only partially worked. Good pub, I haven't been in years, and Ray and Angie have settled in nicely. Enjoyed bumping into Pedro.
