Late afternoon and friendly welcome as always, we sat at the bar and enjoyed our beers in almost exculsivety until a few other folk rocked up a while later.

Mid afternoon friendly welcome from the barmaid and the chap at the bar to which I joined in the conversation bestolling the benefits of drinking lots of fluids! Worthy of note all other customers and more who arrived during my stay were all women!

Thought we'd pop into this award winning pub. Very foody, 5 beers on gravity with jackets on a very warm evening. Beers expensive at £4.60 to £5.20 a pint for beers under 5%.
