These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

GarryAcceptable16 Dec 2010 One of my favourite session ales at a favourite pub, found this slightly off kilter and not as zesty as normal. Not convinced I got the right pint!

The Archibald Simpson, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire

McGarglePoor14 Jan 2011 Something of a misnomer this was thin in the mouth with strong green apple flavours. Unpleasant dry finish.

BlairAcceptable11 Mar 2009 Not very much too it really. Light and mildly hoppy, quite sweet. Inoffensive but certainly not exciting.

The Harvest Moon, Orpington, Greater London

DubbelPoor15 Jan 2009 Nothing like how I remembered it from 2-3 years ago when it had an alarmingly wishy, urinous appearance, hoppy with distinct flavour of apple peel. This time a more reassuring shade of amber, though somewhat cloudy and overly malty. Perhaps hadn't settled for long enough.

IanAcceptable03 Oct 2005 Gold colour with thin white head. Apple aroma, some acid, some yeast. Acidic finish. Bit more red apple. bit of earty hop, caramel and orange and also a bit sweaty.

Ashford Rugby Club Beer Festival 2005, Ashford, Kent

IanAcceptable04 Sep 2005 Golden colour thin white head. Bit of hay on nose some green apple acids, then some toffee, caramel leading to caramel smooth finish. Nose is not too attractive but otherwise this is ok
