16 Jan 2026 (Magnus Greel)
Friendly and welcoming mid afternoon visit, busy around the bar where bemused curious locals showed great interest in our crawl today, as well as the various places we'd all travelled from. Surely they must be used to groups of MicroPub tickers by now???
| Ilkley - Sticky Bandits | 4.00 | | A 'sticky toffee' stout did what it said on the tin yet subtly, not the sickly sweet syrupy overbearing gloop I was expecting. |
| Mighty Oak - Maldon Gold | 3.80 | Not Tried | |
| Mighty Oak - Captain Bob | 3.80 | Not Tried | |
| Mighty Oak - Red Squirrel | 3.90 | Not Tried | |
20 Dec 2025 (Andrew)
Pub number fourteen, but definitely not on the tour. Gareth and I came next door for chips but the chip shop was closed, so we came here. It was busy.
| Theakston - Old Peculier | 5.60 | | |
| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| St Austell - Proper Job | 4.50 | Not Tried | |
| Glamorgan (formerly Kite) - Cwrw Gorslas | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
20 Nov 2025 (Andrew)
Fairly quiet in and by 8:30 we were the only customers left.
| Goacher's - Crown Imperial Stout | 4.50 | | Excellent condition but a touch too burnt, unlike previous years when it was just smooth brilliance. |
| Mighty Oak - Kings (was 3.9% before 2013) | 4.20 | Not Tried | |
| Mighty Oak - Here Comes Winter | 3.90 | Not Tried | |
| Theakston - Ruby Ale | 4.50 | Not Tried | |
29 Aug 2025 (Andrew)
Ah the Parkerville. Mark was on good form, as was the beer.
| Tonbridge - Velvet Raven | 5.20 | | Really smooth black porter-like beer |
| Dark Star - Hophead (was 3.8%) brewed by Fuller's | 3.40 | | Nice |
| Wantsum - More's Head (previously 3.4% & 3.5%) | 3.70 | Not Tried | |
| Mighty Oak - Mars Azzacs | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
29 Mar 2025 (Hogan Sampling)
Not busy for my late afternoon visit to this micropub but good to get out of the wind that had got up. Prompt friendly service. I was surprised to see two mainstream beers on for a micropub as in London Pride and Proper Job but also a couple of other real ales were on from the smaller breweries to interest me.
| Bristol Beer Factory - Milk Stout | 4.50 | | It came with good head and lacing on this Bristol-based milk stout. A slightly malty first hit and a bittersweet mouthfeel from all the chocolatey infusions therein. A pleasantly dry bitterness lingered. |
| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| St Austell - Proper Job | 4.50 | Not Tried | |
| Long Man - Best Bitter | 4.00 | Not Tried | Now the third sighting of this bitter in Herne Bay's five micropubs in the town centre. |
24 Jan 2025 (Andrew)

| Wantsum - More’s Head | 3.70 | Not Tried | |

Ah the Parkerville. Mark was on good form. Not too busy.
| Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Blarney Stone | 4.30 | | Top stuff for sure. |
| Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 5 | 4.40 | Not Tried | |
| Tonbridge - Blonde Ambition | 4.20 | Not Tried | |
| Wilde Child - Dutiful Supremacy | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
16 Jan 2025 (Magnus Greel)
Mid afternoon and busy with friendly jovial locals clustered around the bar, we found plenty of space available in the back room to comfortably occupy everyone.

06 Sep 2024 (Jack William)
Mid afternoon, quiet, except for the bartender who was rather loud and course. Surprised to see two mainstream ales on.
| 360° - Bluebell Sussex Best Bitter | 4.30 | | Full bodied but rather too malty for my taste. |
| Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | Not Tried | Chalked up at 3.8 |
| Hop Monster (Georges) - Mad Dog Black (was Mad Dog Mild) | 4.90 | Not Tried | |
03 Aug 2024 (Hogan Sampling)
Busy with locals mid-afternoon and met up with two who moved here in recent years, plus a fellow day-tripper from London.

| Skinner's (now brewed by Goodh) - Betty Stogs Bitter | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
| Mighty Oak - The Old Man and The Sea | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
