1530 and not too crowded as no music on. An excellent LocAle selection today. Current 2012 gbg entry and, 17 times continuously since 1995. This is Rochester's finest pub. Great exterior too. Miss this pub at your peril!

It's always great to be back at the Man of Kent. After an exciting afternoon at Diggerland we were all looking forward to a session. Our luck ran out however, and the pub was soon closed to to the drains overflowing. Talk about bad luck still, it was fun while it lasted.

I was travelling by train from Sittingbourne to Ebbsfleet, so I thought it would be silly not to break my journey at Rochester. When I arrived there were eight beers on, but two pumps were being made ready for a couple more which brought the total to ten (or possibly eleven). A good crowd of people, many of whom were enjoying half pints of beers, and working their way through the range on offer.

The pub is found in Rochester, Kent, ME1 1YN.
A true boozer in the Troy Town area of the City. Plenty of seating ranging from tables and chairs to leather sofas but all with a old feel to them. 11 handpumps selling mainly Kentish beers and a gaggle of ciders (in boxes on the counter top) too. The pub encourages live music sessions. Magnificent outside Style & Winch front fascia signing has survived. Closed for holidays until 3rd November 2022.
