Roger Corbett and I spent most of the Friday evening session in here, there was a good crowd of people enjoying both the ales and the conversation. People were discussing the usual topics in this pub, namely beer, Tomson & Wotton, pork pies, sausages, and mustard.

Saturday lunchtime. Good smattering of people in enjoying the beer and conversation. Pork pie looks good. Good little corner pub. Beers served on gravity in Gadds glasses. Local football and Stephen Fry were topics of conversation.

Very little condition even swirling the glass. Some syrupy fruity malt. Gravity can expose lack of conditioning |

The second day of opening, and I felt that a visit was long overdue. I arrived just after 12:00 and the pub gradually filled up with a good mix of people including a former employee of Tomson and Wotton Brewery, some local historians, and Martyn from the Butchers Arms.

Got there at opening time. Colin the host has done a superb job on this micro pub and I wish him well. The beers were in excellent form and went down too well.
