Hogan Sampling		02 May 2026	Fresh on was this Northfleet-brewed straw-coloured pale and as I was told by the barmaid who was pulling it up with lots of froth to be seen and time needed for it to settle. Needless to say, very good head and lacing presented and lasting to the end. A lightly fruited first bite. A grapefruit-infused hoppiness rising from its blend of Centennial, Simcoe, Citra and Admiral hops. A dry bitterness winning over aided by its Extra Pale Maris Otter, Wheat and Dextrin. A gentle fruitiness sailing out with touches of orange rind and a background hint of pine. Perhaps a tad fresh but certainly presented in lively nick.
