Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Stephen HarrisGood09 Jul 2012 The brewers are keen to stress that this beer is in the American pale Ale style, as opposed to the American IPA style. The first thing to notice is that it is a darkish, chestnut colour – a shade darker in fact than the Best Bitter. The next brew will be paler, we are told. Richly malty with US hop notes.
