McGargle		31 Oct 2009	Superb. Crystal clear with long lasting white head. Some hints of sulphur on the nose and perfect cellaring brings out the complexity of flavour that is all too often missing. Well balanced fruit, toffee and hops with just enough body. On this form Draught Bass is still a classic.

Ian		18 Jan 2006	Copper coloured with lasting white head. Still a very good session beer. Enough flavour to keep you coming back for more, without being overwhelming. Good minerality. Some caramel, some hop, some yeast. Always found it hard to pin down Bass. Bit of sweetness, bit of lemon citrus. Or was that the girl’s perfume?
