Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Hogan SamplingGood26 Oct 2024 Came in good shape with head and lacing. A pleasantly hoppy flavour with a lightly fruity mouthfeel from this Amber Ale.
Philip PirripExcellent24 Aug 2024 Not far from perfect
Philip PirripExcellent19 Jul 2024 4½* Exceptional even down to use of a chilled glass on such a warm day. If only all brewers could brew like this and all pubs dispense it so
Philip PirripExcellent15 Jun 2024 First out a new cask. When I had arrived the previous cask had been very near the end, with the barmaid getting the customer before me to see if it was still acceptable, she and he confirmed a twang so time for cask replacement after a lengthy line cleaning operation. That's care!
